Regional Locations and Expansions 2009

The following is a sampling of businesses that have established locations or expanded operations already based in the St. Louis area in 2009.

Lindenwood University - Lindenwood University opened a new campus in downtown St. Louis. They are leasing 6,300 square feet of space at 1409 Washington Avenue. This is the 10th satellite location for the university, in addition to its 500-acre main campus in St. Charles, MO. The university expects an annual enrollment of 500 students for the downtown campus.

Scottrade Inc. - Scottrade has purchased two buildings and two parcels of land at Maryville Centre in Town & Country, MO. The buildings include a four-story, 165,000 square-foot office building and a five story, 215,000 square-foot office building. The two parcels of land total 14 acres. The new locations will house some operations and administrative functions.

Telamon Corporation - Telamon, an Indianapolis-based company that receives and installs IT hardware and software, is locating a new office in Fenton, MO. The office will start out with 17 workers and expand to 28 workers by 2013.

Moson Autotech LLC - Moson Autotech LLC is a subsidiary of Koide Company, which is a Hong Kong-based company that specializes in manufacturing wire and cable harness assemblies and optical lens. The company has purchased a building in Bridgeton, MO, and should be fully operational by the end of 2009. This is the company's first U.S. based facility.

Dental Network of America - Dental Network of America is a wholly owned subsidairy of Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), a Mutual Legal Reserve Company. HCSC is the largest customer-owned health insurer in the United States. Dental Network of America has over 20 years of industry leading experience, and functions as a third party administrator for all HCSC dental programs. The company will be adding 200 new jobs to its Belleville, IL location.
